[I thought it was an interesting approach for a story. This story is about a family outing to Florida and then, spoiler alert, everything goes wrong.] We start with the Grandma warning her beloved family not to go to Florida because a crazy murder has escaped and it wasn't safe. Everyone ignores her and continues to pack up there things. They get in the car and start the miserable drive to Florida. The grandmother sandwiched between her young grandchildren, her son driving and her daughter in law sitting in the front with her baby. They eat their lunch in the car and then stop at Red Sammy’s BBQ sandwich shop and talk to red sammy himself. After a long conversation with him warning the family to be safe the grandmother wants to visit her old house where she always felt safe. She convinces the children and soon enough her son and they start driving toward the house. Then they spin out of control when the cat jumps out of the grandmothers basket, the cat landing on her son's back scaring him. The car flips over and after seeing if everyone is safe; a car comes to save them. The car was filled with these big men. After a long stare at the man in charge the Grandmother realised who the man was, it was the misfit, the man who escaped from prison. The misfit was unplease that she recognized him so he separated the family one by one. After it was just the grandmother and the misfit they had a long conversation where the misfit tell her all his sins. She tried to tell the misfit he was a good person. Soon after that the misfit kills the grandmother and the rest of the family was kill by the other men and that was the end. I hated that whole conversation they had. It was dreadful. I mean actually the worst, she was begging for her life and he was just playing with her at this point. He already knew he was going to kill her; he knew right when he saw them drive past him. This story was definitely a wild ride, I felt like it was all over the place. I didn't realize what was happening until something majorly shifted. It was a good story very interesting indeed. I enjoyed it for the most part.
