Day one.
Today my group is Kallan, Jack and myself. Originally we Kallan, Jack, Jadyn, Abby, Anna, and Sierra were going to be a group. I wanted to take pictures and go to all the gardens in the city and I wanted to represent the different environment the authors parents. But… change of plans. I am not going to lie this is … going to be a hard project. I would have switched groups but I think it might be doable! I think its annoying that Kallan is doing this JUST to wear her prom dress. Also i have a lot of doubts. But it’s ok we can do it. I’m not scared at all… I’m only very nervous.

Day 2
Today we haven't talked about the project at all. I think we should start changing the idea.

February 22, 2018
Day 3
Today was the first 2 hour class. I came up with a few changes in our project. Instead of have 2 BIG boards i thought we should make one frame and then we would go to the garden or some mural and take a picture of a young Ma and a young Bo. I convinced Jack and Kallan then we got Dr. Cobos to drive use to Texas Art Supply to get paint, Kallan picked out spray paint… I would have picked a different type of paint like water base BUT WHATEVER. Then we got back asked Mr. Grisbee to use is wood for a fram and Jack is almost done.

Day 4
Jack wants to put the frame together.. But we didn’t have enough time. We are waiting for Jack to put the frame together so we can start painting.

Day 5
It is the weekend and we haven’t talked about doing anything special.

Day 6
Nothing to report. But I am starting to think where we should put the frame. Also getting worried WE NEED TO PAINT! AND JACK NEEDS TO PUT THE FRAME TOGETHER!!!

February 28, 2018
Day 7
Okay today I found out that jack put together the frame and they tried to paint but Mr. Grisbee is giving us “A key lesson” on spray paint. I know how to spray paint but I do not blame him… I would trust Kallen, also where would we spray paint. I hope we get to pain and go to our location before it is due. I am feeling pretty good.

March 1, 2018
Day 8
Today is our second 2 hour class. Since I figured everyone would bring their stuff since our project is due monday we would be ready to take pictures. Not the case. We didn’t get to paint the frame because no one asked for a key lesson… In my defence I just found out we needed a key lesson and Kallan did say she and him were going to do it sometime after school… not the case yet again. Kallan forgot her dress and Jack was fine. He brought his camera, he had a good enough outfit. After the whole “we can’t paint” I just said okay well since jack lives in the middle of nowhere lets take pictures of him at Bell Park. We did that Kallan takes bad pictures and i’m just going to take pictures of Kallan on Friday.  
March 2, 2018
Day 9
Kallan bailed on me! She said she couldn’t come! I am speechless. I told Jack what happened and we came up with a backup plan. Me and him are going to take pictures of girls in our families in nice dresses to represent Ma as a young girl. We know we don’t have the frame but what else are we going to do? We took Jacks picture lower to the ground because we tried to get a “Poor” idea from it. I found it very hard to convey thing and I had an image in my head but i didn't know how to express it I wanted him to have a sad face but when you tell someone “Have a sad face!” they smile and laugh. I ended up choosing a picture of his head down because he was smiling. I got advice from the photography club president and she helped me choose the saddest picture (i also chose my favorite of him reaching into the water).

Day 10
I took pictures of my mom and my sister in law they look really good and
I hope it works. I wish Kallan didn’t bail on me but you do what you have do.

Day 11

NEWS FLASH: Kallan brought her dress to school I took pictures of her before school started.  For Kallans pictures I wanted to go somewhere with a beautiful background somewhere green, somewhere with flowers. We went across the street and took pictures of this beautiful balcony and a bush with beautiful pink flowers. Kallan was looking down and to me she looked sad the pictures came out beautifully and I feel good

Izabella Curtis English Language Arts Dr. Cobos 09/27/2017 Why did Marjane's parents decide to send her to Europe? Do you think this was the right decision? Why or why not? I think Marjane’s parent made the right call. Majane was very smart and very rebellious, sooner or later she was going to get arrested for not wearing the “appropriate” clothing or she would get caught having tapes or other little things like that. Marjane’s school’s religion was not rubbing on her like they hoped and right when she got kicked out her school no other school would want her rebellious attitude and the fact that she slapped the principal no one would give her the education. Marjane has experience a lot of deaths in her young life at 14. She lost friends, family, her own sense of childhood. Overall I think her parent made the right call. In what ways did Marjane find it difficult to fit back into Iranian society? In what ways did this surprise you (or not surprise you)?        I chose this question because I thought it was very interesting to me. Ok, to start off clothing vise in Iranian culture was in page 246 when a man at the airport tells her to fix her veil.
