Izabella Curtis English Language Arts Dr. Cobos 09/27/2017 Why did Marjane's parents decide to send her to Europe? Do you think this was the right decision? Why or why not? I think Marjane’s parent made the right call. Majane was very smart and very rebellious, sooner or later she was going to get arrested for not wearing the “appropriate” clothing or she would get caught having tapes or other little things like that. Marjane’s school’s religion was not rubbing on her like they hoped and right when she got kicked out her school no other school would want her rebellious attitude and the fact that she slapped the principal no one would give her the education. Marjane has experience a lot of deaths in her young life at 14. She lost friends, family, her own sense of childhood. Overall I think her parent made the right call.
